Are There Harbingers of a New Financial System?
I recently received an email from a reader who asked the following: “I am interested in the consciousness shift you have written about on your website. I am confused about the timescale of this shift though. I’ve read lots of different articles from different people about certain dates which are supposed to be significant, including October 28th 2011 when Carl Calleman said Unity Consciousness was realized and 21st December 2012 when a shift was supposed to happen.
I would be interested to know if you have any insight into these changes and if you can explain them, if you know when exactly this consciousness shift started and when it reaches its full fruition. It’s frustrating having all these questions and so little seems to be being said on the internet about this shift since 21st December 2012 came and went. It’s difficult to find people who can actually sense the shift and I sometimes think I’ve imagined it. I don’t think so though.”
About 25 years ago I was a student of the Michael Channel, channeled spiritual teachings from a higher plane of existence. I was an accountant at the time and was dismayed to hear their prediction that we would have a period of global serfdom in our money system before it began to change. I remember hoping that would happen after my lifetime. But it is already here – the evidence in the form of the 1% and the stripping of wealth through usurious interest and the commoditization of the planet which I have spoken about in earlier blogs – and these are only a couple of the myriads of other examples. I assumed that this “serfdom” would last for hundreds of years, as it did in the middle ages, but I was not aware then of the evolving experience of time which the end of the Mayan Calendar was referring to, where events have been compressed into shorter and shorter time periods that made their calendar obsolete. It is remarkable that they knew that way back then. It is my experience that there is a shift happening and it is gathering momentum.
This is some of the evidence that I have been witnessing:
So many of us intuit in our hearts, minds, and souls that the world is going through a tremendous transformation, as there are positive changes in previously frozen world problems, with people waking up and taking bold and creative action to address them.
Many people are sensing that the energies within and around us are rising to a higher frequency every day. We are beginning to feel lighter, more energized, and many are noticing they are finding it easier to contact the subtle spiritual worlds, as they seem closer to us, and the barriers less.
There are many worldwide meditations to support and distribute these higher energies are proliferating all over the world.
Greater light and love is permeating everywhere, even though we might not yet fully understand what is causing this transformation and where it is leading us.
Over 1,500 CEOs or CFOs of banks, hedge fund managers, or top-level financial executives have resigned, been indicted or arrested, which is ten times the normal attrition rate. Consequently, there has been a major shift in personnel at many key financial institutions Other financial indicators include the discrediting of Jamie Dimon, Morgan Chase CEO and the $13 billion mortgage settlement for knowingly selling bad loans to unwitting investors or the $1billion settlement by the Dutch Rabobank for manipulating the Libor rates are examples. Or Senator Warren calling the banks on the carpet for malfeasance. Or the interest in the economic success of countries with National Banks such as Costa Rica who have not been affected by the ups and downs of the world economy. “European banks still face years of effort and billions of dollars in legal charges,” the New York Times reported, including Deutsche Bank of Germany, UBS in Switzerland, Lloyds, and Barclays of London, and well as many U.S. based banks. Many are being investigated simultaneously by regulators from the U.S., Switzerland, Britain, Germany and other countries.
An ever-increasing number of whistleblowers are coming forward and sharing information about corruption in institutions, resulting in many successful prosecutions.
The disbelief of a large percentage of people in the official explanations of 9/11, the Kennedys, King and many other assassinations, as well as the rationales given for bailouts of the corrupt banking system, and many other activities is another example of the awakening.
The increasing uprising of humanity in many countries worldwide, demanding freedom, equality and opportunity.
The recent temporary U.S. government shutdown and debt crisis instigated by the Tea Party and others in the Republican party in the US to create chaos has seriously discredited Congress, and the temporary solution simply adds to the obvious need for major reform of the financial system in the minds of the public.
The installation of Pope Francis has brought the Catholic Church into the economic debate. All too often, though, charitable work has coexisted with a Church hierarchy that diligently avoided critiquing the political and economic system that generates poverty and inequality. That is changing with his challenge to global capitalism. You can check out the New Yorker magazine article that quotes the Pope as saying “Just as the commandment “Thou shalt not kill” sets a clear limit in order to safeguard the value of human life, today we also have to say “Thou shalt not” to an economy of exclusion and inequality. Such an economy kills. How can it be that it is not a news item when an elderly homeless person dies of exposure, but it is news when the stock market loses two points? This is a case of exclusion. Can we continue to stand by when food is thrown away while people are starving? This is a case of inequality.”
In the past 10 years there has been a massive exposure of the fraudulent, exploitive banking system, and the corrupt, interest based currency issued by the Federal Reserve and other international banks that control and manipulate it.
The WikiLeaks exposure of the details of the Trans Pacific Partnership negotiations, showing that the proposed agreement would only give more power to corporations and eliminate environmental and other regulations.
There is currently a discrediting, prosecution and reorganizing of many media outlets as has happened with the Washington Post. The trial of the editors of Murdoch’s paper is another example of this. Although the media seems to be in general a hold out and thus we don’t see a lot of the items I am listing here as a trend in the media, nonetheless the lies and treachery of the media are increasingly being exposed.
All of these examples, and I’m sure you each have some of your own, point to the fact that there are massive changes taking place in the power dynamics in the world.
As more of humanity awakens, demanding and creating change, it creates a momentum of forces that have increasing freedom to help us, as our free will choices and intentions are aligning with the desire to be free. Our will is part of what makes humanity divine. It separates us from the animal kingdom, as it gives us the freedom to create and to make any possible choice. With awareness of the possibility of intention, focusing, attracting, assembling and organizing all elements of any creation on any level, we are waking up to the fact that we can make a difference. It seems there is a growing free will cry for freedom in the hearts of humanity and that humanity is learning the right use of will. It is important that human free will demonstrates efforts to oppose the forces of repression and that humanity struggles to become free. And we can see those efforts in the Occupy movement and the recent minimum wage demonstrations in the US. Struggle is how we become more conscious and planet earth is a mystery school for evolving consciousness.
Creation that is expressed in harmony with all of human and other life, based on love and understanding of the whole, that intends enhancement and freedom for all, is Divine. And love is beginning to enter the lexicon. It is unusual to hear the word love in a political speech. But President Obama used it yesterday in his speech on the death of Nelson Mandela. He said “We will not likely see the likes of Nelson Mandela again, so it falls to us as best we can to follow the example that he set, to make decisions guided not by hate, but by love, to never discount the difference that one person can make, to strive for a future that is worthy of his sacrifice.” Each loving creative step we take, no matter how small or even distorted is walking the path and stepping into the process of right will and divine creation.
I am hearing from other channeled sources that a complete reform sand reorganization of the financial system to serve the circulation of money and to promote fair exchange and economic activity is in the planning stages and will be implemented imminently. But as the Mayans knew, the experience of time is variable. It took us thousands of years to get here, so what does imminently mean? And it is importent for our personal journey of consciousness to not believe- we don’t need any more belief systems! -but rather to find out for ourselves. So I will continue watching what is unfolding that seems to portend such an event. And this time I am hoping it does happen in my lifetime!
